Stayed only one night on the front end of a 10 day tour but wished we could have extended. Got in early and room was ready so we could stash our gear and head out for a full day. Room (or should I say "rooms") were hip, stylish, and very functional. Who designed the green view? Wow! What a fabulous... More

I recommend this place to anyone who mentions they're thinking of traveling to Spain. Excellent location right on La Rambla and the front desk was amazing as far as pointing out things to do and restaurants to try. When I mentioned I wanted to take beach day they steered me away from the main beach and Barcelona and told me... More

This hotel is a treasure of a find in Barcelona. It was a bit tricky to locate the first time, but beyond that it exceeded our expectations. Free drinks and snacks 24/7 were a lovely amenity! The staff were incredibly helpful and gave us excellent recommendations. The hotel is situated very close to Las Ramblas and other cool areas that... More

We were a group of four staying in this hotel for three nights. We absolutely loved it. The staff here is amazing. They have wonderful English, which is helpful because none of us had much Spanish. I believe they found the nicest people in Barcelona and gave them jobs at this hotel. And these folks are always here. You don't... More

Having googled boutique Hotels in Barcelona city centre - this popped up and its reviews were so good I booked it without looking much further. I am so glad I did - this place is what Hotels should be all about. From the wonderful welcome and the well appointed rooms and lovely snacks available 24/7 to the fabulous breakfasts the... More

We loved this hotel. The rooms are charming, the location is great. The staff are fabulous! A real plus is the complementary food and drink available 24 hours a day. It's really nice to come in from a long day and be able to sit quietly with a soda and some fruit or a sandwich without the hassle of finding... More

4 of us stayed here in October. We chose this hotel based on TA reviews and were not disappointed. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff. You really feel at home and that the staff are genuinely happy you are a guest. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Eggs cooked to order and freshly baked breads and... More

We stayed here one night prior to boarding our ship for a trans-Atlantic cruise. What a wonderful way to start our vacation! The staff were all so helpful and kind. I had email problems when I tried to re-confirm our reservation and the hotel called me directly! That's service above and beyond. Since we had just finished a long overnight... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this boutique hotel recently. We were really impressed, especially by the quality of the service and the functionalist design of the rooms. The location is also spectacular, just a couple of blocks from Las Ramblas, which is far enough to avoid the noise but close enough to be close to everything. We highly recommend... More

After a bit of trepidation upon arrival when the cab driver said he couldn't drive down the street and we'd have to walk with our luggage to the hotel, everything here was great. Turns out the cab driver was wrong - cars are allowed on this street! The hotel is modern, eco- friendly, welcoming and staffed by friendly, helpful people!... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
